CRD Project Created in July 1997, the Centre
d'Etudes et de Recherche des Dirigeants (Center for Managerial Studies and Research) (CRD)
is a club providing high ranking corporate managers in Morocco a platform for meeting and
exchange of professional experiences as well as a springboard for strategic and
prospective reflection.
The idea for this
project was the result of the first annual management meeting (Cadroscope) organized at
Casablanca in April 1996. It is an emanation revolving around of around three fundamental
observations focusing on the following concepts:
 |
Internationalization,
the information revolution and technological advances are only a few aspects of a new
reality now in the process of formulation, making it necessary to deeply transform our
ways of working and operating. |
 |
For 3 to 4
years, courageous and innovative experiments have proliferated in Morocco, but they remain
largely unknown and still await exploitation. |
 |
In instances
where genuine progress has been made, behind the scenes one is always sure to find
managers who think and act differently. These managers share a joint vision of the role
they have to play and accept the fact that it is impossible to be omniscient and be master
of all. They feel a common need to share with others, to learn and move forward. |
CRD's objective is
to offer an answer to these all embracing requisites and transformations.
Operating by
mutual appointment, the Center presently joins together some twenty managers working
toward a common goal, i.e., enriching and enhancing management practices in Morocco an
putting them into harmony with the most innovative tendencies felt throughout the world.
Seminars,
workshops and multidisciplinary forums are all events constituting a retreat from daily
pressures, offered to managers who willingly participate in collaboration with their
counterparts, to keep abreast of the latest trends and increase their awareness of the
changes taking place.
This website
constitutes another door opening to the outside world. One for those in Morocco or
elsewhere who are seeking to broaden their knowledge, and discover more about progress
being made in the world of management at our end of the Maghreb and this side of the
Mediterranean.
